This browser can't do speech recognition

The Web Speech API isn't available here. It works in Chrome, Edge, and Safari on both desktop and mobile.

Firefox does not support it at all.

Recognition runs through your browser's built-in speech engine. In Chrome that means audio is sent to Google's servers to be transcribed; Safari uses Apple's. Nothing is stored here — the text lives only in this tab until you copy it.
